Frequently asked questions

A technique for preparing a home for sale: you depersonalise, tidy, clear and decorate in a neutral way so the home appeals to as many buyers as possible. It is not decorating to live in, it is preparing to sell.

It depends on the property. In empty homes we usually use quality cardboard furniture with real textiles (sofa cover, cushions, bedding) to suggest liveable spaces at low cost. In furnished homes, we rearrange what is there and add a few pieces.

The data says so. A prepared home gets more clicks on the portals, generates more quality viewings and reaches negotiation with less room for a price cut, because the first impression is solid. It usually sells in noticeably less time.
